National Clean Air Day Activities
Thursday 15th June
Overdale Junior and Infant schools are working with Sustrans (the sustainable transport charity) to raise awareness of Clean Air Day on June 15th.
Polluted air is known to seriously affect health and children are most at risk. To highlight this and to encourage solutions, the two schools will be holding some fun activities on the day. In the morning there will be 'Dr. Bike' who will be fixing and servicing the children's bikes so please encourage them to cycle in on that day. There will be extended cycle parking.
In the afternoon, the playground will be filled with stalls and activities to promote and discuss active travel.
Children (and parents) will be able to join in with everything. Please see the letter below or speak with Mr. Massey in the Junior School with any questions.
