This is also the part of the website where we will save our half-termly newsletters. We hope that you enjoy reading them and learning about the things that we have been up to this half term.
Wednesday 4th September – 3:30 – 4:30 – Meet the teacher
After collecting your child from the playground at the end of the day as usual, we invite you to visit your child’s class to see where they are sitting and to introduce yourselves to the class teacher. No sign up necessary. Just come along and say ‘hello’.
Friday 27th September (8:50 onwards) at the infant school – Macmillan coffee morning
Macmillan coffee morning. A chance to get together and raise money for charity.
Monday 7th October – Harvest assembly and food collection
It would be great if as many children as possible could bring in one item of non-perishable foods to add to the display which will then go to the food banks for distribution.
Monday 14th – Friday 18th October – Y6 residential trip to Overstrand, Norfolk
Monday 21st – 25th October – Half term break – school is closed
Monday 28th – Staff Training Day – school is closed to pupils
Tuesday 29th October – school opens to pupils
Tuesday 29th and Wednesday 30th October – Parents’ Evening meetings
10-minute meetings with your child’s class teacher will be booked online. More information to follow nearer the time.
Friday 15th November – Children in Need pyjama day – more information to follow
Week beginning 9th December – Christmas Discos organised by the PA
Friday 13th December – Christmas Jumper Day
Tuesday 17th December – am - Christmas Concerts at St Mary’s Church - TBC
Monday 23rd December to Monday 6th January – school closed
Monday January 6th – Staff Training Day – school closed to pupils
Tuesday 7th January – school opens for pupils
