Keeping Your Child Safe – A Message from Overdale Junior School

At Overdale Junior School, safeguarding your child’s wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do. We’re committed to creating a safe, supportive environment for all our pupils—and we want to ensure you feel informed and empowered too.

This ‘Keeping Safe’ section of our website is designed to give parents and carers easy access to trusted resources from organisations like the NSPCC and others. These materials cover a range of important topics to help you support your child’s safety and wellbeing at home.

Please note: The documents provided here are intended for adults and may not always be suitable for sharing directly with children due to the language and content. For child-friendly resources, please visit our ‘Info for Children’ section.

If you have any questions, concerns, or would simply like to talk more about any of the topics covered, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your child’s class teacher or contact a member of SLT through the school’s office.
